Our Online Interior Design Process

Getting started.

The first step is to take our design quiz so we can learn more about the space you want to transform. These questions will give us details about your room, design style, budget, lifestyle, desired timeline as well as collect photos of your room and inspiration images you love! At the end of this quiz you can purchase one of the three design package options. Once the package is purchased and we receive all necessary information we will send you a proposal outlining the included deliverables, the timeline for your project and request a dimensioned floorplan from you.

 

The details.

Before we get started we need a rough floorplan from you with dimensions. An example will be sent along with the proposal. If you purchased the Premium or Deluxe Package I will create the initial floorplan based off your images. You will just need to add in the dimensions. Once we receive a signed copy of the proposal and the dimensions we will either schedule a call with you or send a detailed email depending on what package you purchased. We will use this communication to learn more about you and how we can personalize your space to suit your style, functionality and needs. Following the initial consultation we will get started on your design!

Design direction.

Approximately one week from our initial consultation we will send 'Mini Concept Boards' showing two or three design options. The boards will only have a few items on them and sometimes an inspiration image. Each board will have a different look that still falls under your preferred design aesthetic. Let us know which design board you are loving and we will get started on your 'Final Design Board' and handoff.

 

Design handoff.

Once you select your design direction we will spend the next two weeks putting together your 'Final Design Board'. This a fully curated and personalized design board that includes new furniture selection, lighting, artwork, window treatments, paint suggestions and plumbing or tile options if necessary. Also included will be a 'Shopping List' with clickable links. Depending on your design package selection a floorplan showing furniture placement, room notes for execution and a 2D room image will also be included.

Revisions and execution.

Each package comes with 1-2 rounds of revisions. Once you have received your final design package you may reach out to us and request new options for specific items. There may be a few reasons for this, any of which are totally ok! You may want to see a higher or lower priced option, you may just not love the style or the item is no longer available. We want our customers to leave this experience happy and excited about their new space. we will make any necessary adjustments to your project and return it to you promptly. We like to discuss any feedback or questions in a timely manner to ENSURE your products remain available to purchase. Supply chain delays are causing inventory levels to fluctuate quickly so timing is a very important aspect in our e-design process. If no questions or revisions are needed, you have now successfully completed a project through our e-design process!
